1) For each month of 2024 and January 2025, the number of patients waiting more than seven days for acute surgery in your health board.
For clarification, this should cover patients who - for example - attend at A&E with a broken ankle but are sent home to wait for a surgical slot. This should not include individuals who are referred to hospitals for elective procedures or for surgeries which appear in traditional waiting lists.

The Scottish Ambulance Service is an emergency response service and does not offer acute surgery service. It is for this reason we do not hold, and never have held any waiting lists.
