The Scottish Ambulance actively encourages staff members to report any equipment faults or failures. From 2019 staff were asked to report any equipment related issues including anything that could be considered a ‘near-miss’ (the equipment worked when required but an issue was identified that may affect future use). This method allows the Service to address potential equipment issues before being deployed to an incident.

Please note – There is legacy health boards included in this information that have now been removed as an option on the reporting system.
