Can you provide details on the following: Number of maternity coded or other emergency/urgent calls made in the most recent year of data available (ideally 2023 or 2024 for a 12month period) which involved a miscarriage/spontaneous abortion/neonatal/fetal death or still birth noted in the call or in the EPR from the crew after arrival with the patient.

The patient report forms do not capture information on ‘miscarriage/spontaneous’, ‘abortion/neonatal/foetal death’ or ‘still birth’ and therefore we do not have the dataset to report figures for the categories requested. It is for this reason we have applied section 17 of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act 2002 as information not held.
Please see the figures below detailing the total number of ALL pregnancy related calls attended by the Scottish Ambulance Service for 01/01/2024 - 31/12/2024.

This information has been provided in two tables as a new clinical system is being phased in. This phased system has been in place since June 24 and involves only a portion of Scotland. There is the possibility that an incident from the Terrapace 3 system could be counted in the Terrapace 2 system and therefore the figures in the table should NOT be added together.
