Defib Donation

Thanks very much to Taylor Wimpey West Scotland for donating a Public Access Defibrillator (PAD) to the Bothwell and Uddingston Community First Responder Group.

As part of a joint initiative with the British Heart Foundation, the home builder is donating PADS to communities across the UK.

Deryck Schendell, regional health and safety advisor for Taylor Wimpey in Scotland, said: “It’s so important to us that we give something back to the communities in which we are building.”

Kaitlyn Mitchell (pictured), a trainee paramedic and volunteer with the Bothwell and Uddingston CFRs, said: “We can’t thank Taylor Wimpey and BHF enough for this defibrillator.”
