Mum thanks SAS after medical emergency after birth
Mum and NHS worker Jude Wann thanked the staff who attended to her after she had a medical emergency at her home just two days after giving birth to baby Heidi.
She thanked Donna Hendry, Advanced Paramedic Practitioner, Colin Crookston, Advanced Practitioner in Critical Care, Stuart Strachan, Advanced Practitioner and Specialty Doctor in Emergency Medicine, and A and E crew from Glenrothes, David Taylor Paramedic, Geoffrey Green, Technician, and ACC staff, West call taker Mark Linden and East based dispatcher, Nadine McGeachie.
Jude said: “I cannot thank the whole team enough - from those answering my 999 call. Within minutes of my first call I had two advanced paramedic vehicles and 1 ambulance at my home with several crew members, which is fantastic given how rurally I live.
“The professionals were so kind and promptly begun to treat me whilst keeping me calm and ensuring my husband and 2-day-old baby were informed of what was going on.”
Baby Heidi is now aged 4.5 months and doing great said Jude.
