Statement from SAS CEO: Our Deepest Condolences

Following today's sad news of the passing of the The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, our Chief Executive has released the following statement.

Pauline Howie, Chief Executive of the Scottish Ambulance Service, said: “I am greatly saddened to hear of the death of Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, and I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the Royal Family on behalf of the entire Scottish Ambulance Service.”

His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning (April 9) at Windsor Castle.
