Well done to "amazing" ambulance crew
A young mum has offered her thanks to the paramedics who came to her assistance after she broke her ankle when out walking with her daughter.
Shotts ambulance crew Stephen Graham and Martin Fraser were called out to the incident in Polkemmet Country Park, to attend to Chloe McGlynn and three-year-old Sophie.
“I just want to thank the amazing paramedics, Steven and Martin," says Chloe. "They were outstanding, such care and genuinely two really nice people.
"I had a very upset daughter they calmed her down in the ambulance and really made her feel at ease. It didn't even bother me how much pain or that I was in, I was just so relieved in a way that Sophie settled down ok.
“I was taken to Wishaw General and I will be on the road to recovery soon. Resting at home getting looked after by my partner and Sophie with an extremely swollen broken ankle and fibula bone.”
